Zeus Steel & Aluminium Security Fencing

Zeus is a heavy-duty spear-top security fence in black powder-coated steel or aluminium - pressed spear-top pickets welded to a rigid frame, 1800mm or 2100mm high, for boundary, commercial and school security. Add a pedestrian gate or a modular sliding gate, pick steel or aluminium, and the calculator lays out the posts, panels and gates and builds your exact parts list.

Zeus steel vs aluminium

Steel or aluminium, and what Zeus is for

Zeus is a heavy-duty spear-top security fence - 25mm pressed spear-top pickets welded to a rigid rail, powder-coated black. It is built to keep a boundary secure: commercial and industrial sites, schools, and residential boundaries where you want more than a screen.

It comes in two materials, both black:

  • Steel - the mainstream choice. Galvanised, powder-coated, heavier and the most cost-effective. Ideal for most boundary and security jobs.
  • Aluminium - the same look with no rust, for coastal and high-corrosion sites. Lighter, a little dearer.

Panels are 2400mm wide and come 1800mm or 2100mm high. Add a pedestrian gate where you need a walk-through, or a modular sliding gate for a driveway. Every part is powder-coated black to match.

How a Zeus fence goes together
  • Posts first. 65mm square posts are concreted into footings, or surface-mounted on a hidden base plate on a slab. The calculator places the right post at each end, corner and gate.
  • Panels bracket in. Each 2400mm panel fixes to the posts with a bracket pack - standard, or tamper-resistant security brackets with one-way screws for an exposed boundary.
  • Gates. A pedestrian gate hangs on a gate post each side with a key-lockable latch. A sliding gate is a modular kit - a 4260mm base extended with middle panels - that runs on a bolt-down track between tunnel posts, manual or automated.
  • Cap it off. A press-on cap finishes every post.

The calculator turns your run lengths, material and gates into the exact count of each part - panels, posts, brackets, caps, gates and hardware.

Heights, gates and what to check first

Zeus is a security and boundary fence - it is not a swimming-pool safety barrier and does not meet pool-fence rules. If your fence forms part of a pool barrier, use the pool-fencing range instead.

Choose 1800mm for a standard boundary or 2100mm for extra-tall security and privacy. A driveway sliding gate can run manually or with the optional FILO 400 automation (supply-only - suits gates to 5.5m). Before you start, check for underground services (Dial Before You Dig), confirm your boundary, and check your council's fence-height rules. For exposed, cyclone-prone or commercial sites, get engineering advice.

The calculator lays out each run, places gates where you want them, adds the right posts at corners and wall ends, and hands the on-screen list to an emailed parts plan with pricing.

Frequently asked
What is Zeus fencing?

A heavy-duty spear-top security fence - pressed spear-top pickets welded to a rigid frame, powder-coated black, in steel or aluminium. It is used for boundary, commercial and school security.

Is it a pool fence?

No. Zeus is a security and boundary fence. It is not a swimming-pool safety barrier and does not meet pool-fence rules. For a pool barrier, use our pool-fencing range.

Steel or aluminium - which should I choose?

Steel for most jobs - it is the most cost-effective and very rigid. Aluminium for coastal or high-corrosion sites where you want the same look with no rust; it is lighter and a little dearer.

What heights are there?

Panels are 2400mm wide and come 1800mm high (standard boundary) or 2100mm high (extra-tall security and privacy).

Can I install it myself?

Yes. Posts are concreted or base-plated, panels bracket to the posts, and caps press on. The main jobs are setting the posts and fixing the panels.

What gates can I add?

A pedestrian gate (a walk-through leaf on gate posts with a key-lockable latch) or a modular sliding gate for a driveway, built up from a 4260mm kit with middle panels and run on a bolt-down track.

Can the sliding gate be motorised?

Yes - the optional NICE FILO 400 automation suits gates up to 5.5m and 400kg. It is supply-only; the motor is installed and supported via the manufacturer's guide, not by us.

How is it priced?

We are supply-only, so you pay for materials, not labour. Enter your run lengths and material, choose your gates and finishes, and the calculator returns an exact parts list with your price.
