SGP laminated glass panel, 17.52mm overall thickness (typically two 8mm toughened glass leaves with a 1.52mm SGP interlayer), 700mm wide x 1100mm high. SGP (DuPont SentryGlas) is a stiff structural interlayer that is approximately 100x stiffer and 5x stronger than standard PVB - critical for any "interlayer-only" balustrade where the glass must continue to support the handrail load even after both glass leaves have failed. Used in higher-safety balustrade applications: balconies above 4m, commercial buildings, hospitality and any installation requiring a higher level of post-breakage residual strength. The 1100mm height exceeds the 1000mm NCC Volume 2 minimum for falls greater than 1m - the extra height accommodates a top handrail or pinch trim while still meeting the barrier height requirement. Install per AS/NZS 1170.0, AS/NZS 1170.1 and NCC2022; refer to engineer for SGP-specific load case calculations and required spigot spacing.
