AIRE vertical slat baluster with Kwila timber-image powder-coat finish, 65 x 16.5mm hollow profile, 5800mm long, alloy 6106 T6 - the premium and rigid alloy used across the AIRE structural range. Sublimation timber-image coating gives the appearance of natural Kwila timber on a fully aluminium baluster (no maintenance, no weathering, no warping). Cut to required baluster length on site (per the AIRE fabrication formulas: full configuration BH = OH - BG - 19mm; 3-rail configuration BH = OH - BG - TG - 48mm). Press-fits into the punched holes of the AIRE inline insert (AR-3022-INS-65-M) or raked insert (AR-3175-INS-65RA-M) inside the AIRE 45 x 45mm bottom rail (AR-5800-BR-M); the patented aluminium friction legs grip each slat firmly with no rattle. The mill-finish AIRE bottom rail / inserts / handrail are typically used with the timber slat so the timber image is the visual feature; the bottom rail and handrail can also be powder-coated to match. Top spacing in the undercapping rail uses the 65mm AIRE top spacer (AR-SPACER-65MM). Install per AS/NZS 1170.0, AS/NZS 1170.1 and NCC2022. Available in Kwila (AW-5800-S65-KWI) and Western Red Cedar (AW-5800-S65-WRC).
