PIK pedestrian access gate, 975mm wide x 1200mm high, in satin black powder-coated aluminium. Made from aluminium (rather than the galvanised steel used in PIK panels) for weight reduction - important for self-closing gate hardware that's load-rated to a maximum gate weight. Construction is a 40 x 40mm full aluminium frame with 32mm diameter round balusters at 80mm centres, providing 48mm gaps to match the panel picket spacing for a continuous visual line. Pool fence compliant to AS 1926.1 when correctly installed with self-closing hinges and a compliant latch (e.g. Magna Latch ML-TL). Designed to be installed between two PIK panels using the gate kit (PIK-GATEKIT-B), which sleeves 40 x 40mm aluminium profiles over the adjacent end pickets to create hinge and latch posts - leave a daylight opening of approximately 1010mm (21mm hinge gap + 975 gate + 14mm latch gap). Colour-matched to black PIK panels (use PIK-GATE-0975-1200-W for white). Pair with the gate kit (PIK-GATEKIT-B), self-closing hinges and a compliant latch.
