Blade screw-on base plate set in matt black powder-coated aluminium, used to convert a Blade heavy-duty full post (XP-2400-FP-B or XP-6000-FP-B) into a base-plated balustrade post. The 100 x 100mm plate screws onto the post via the post's internal screw flutes using the included 4 x 12G x 50mm long countersunk stainless screws - no welding required. 12mm-thick plate with 4 x Ø11mm fixing holes (and 2 x Ø13mm cut-outs as detailed on page 9 of the catalogue). Suitable for balustrade load requirements when correctly installed to AS/NZS 1170 and NCC Volume 2. IMPORTANT: suits XP-2400/6000-FP heavy-duty posts ONLY - will NOT fit the standard 1.8mm wall tubular core-drill posts (SS-1800-B / SS-2100-B), which don't have the internal flutes. Note: 11mm base plate holes suit M10 fixings; for face-mount posts (which have 13mm holes) use M12 fixings instead. Colour-matched to the Blade matt black aluminium range. Pair with M10 timber-fixing kit (S-110LAG-4PK) or M10 concrete-fixing kit (S-120ROD-4PK), M10 dome nuts (S-M10DN-4PK), and a 2-part screw-fix domical cover (XP-DC-2P-B).
