Half post, 1400mm long in satin black powder-coated aluminium. 50 x 25 x 3mm rear wall thickness extrusion in Alloy 6106 T6, designed for use at the start or end of a balustrade span where the post is fixed to an adjacent wall or existing structural post rather than being a free-standing in-ground or base-plated post. Easily cut to required length. Screw fix sideways to the wall/post via the recessed post cavity (minimum 3 fixings recommended); the 21 x 12 x 18mm post infill (A50-1400-INF-B) snaps into the cavity to hide the screw fixings. The handrail undercapping rail screw-fixes into the 2 screw flutes in the top of the half post. Shared part across the Australis glass balustrade range, AIRE aluminium picket balustrade and Premium Perf balustrade systems. Install per AS/NZS 1170.0, AS/NZS 1170.1 and NCC2022 balustrade design actions and barrier requirements; engineer compliance certification available on request. Colour-matched to the matt black range; for other finishes use A50-1400D-HALF-M (mill), -MN (monument matt) or -W (pearl white). Pair with the snap-in infill (A50-1400-INF-B) and a 5800mm oval (A50-5800-OHR-B) or rectangular (A50-5800-RHR-B) handrail. For longer runs use the 5800mm version (A50-5800D-HALF-B).
