Handrail wall plate in satin black powder-coated aluminium. Designed as a slimline alternative to the bulkier offset bracket (A50-BRACKET-R-B-2PK / A50-BRACKET-O-B-2PK) for terminating a 75 x 30mm handrail at a wall - the wall plate affixes internally to the undercapping rail so only the bottom section is visible after install, giving a much cleaner wall termination. Suits BOTH oval and rectangular handrails (A50-5800-OHR-B / A50-5800-RHR-B). Install sequence: (1) countersink the top hole of the wall plate and insert it onto the undercapping rail, fix off through the hole on top of the wall plate using a countersunk screw (not supplied); (2) screw fix the undercapping rail to the post via screw flutes using AR-SCR-BR-50PK panhead screws, ensuring the wall plate fits neatly against the wall/post; (3) affix the wall plate to the wall/post using 2 x screws (suit screws to the wall material); (4) clip on the oval or rectangular handrail - wall plate is hidden except for the bottom section. Plate has a Ø6mm fixing hole and dimensions of 60 x 50 x 38 x 20 x 3mm (per catalogue page 14). Install per AS/NZS 1170.0 and AS/NZS 1170.1 and NCC 2022 balustrade design actions and barrier requirements. Colour-matched to the matt black range; for Monument finish use A50-WP-MN.
