Blade 2-part domical cover in matt black powder-coated aluminium (alloy ADC12), 106 x 106mm outer with a 52 x 52mm inner aperture sized to suit 50 x 50mm posts. Designed to fit over the screw-fixed base plate (XP-BP-SET-B) on a Blade heavy-duty post (XP-2400-FP-B or XP-6000-FP-B) to conceal the plate, fixings and any unevenness in the substrate finish. The cover splits into two halves (held together by discreet screws) so it can be fitted around an already-installed post without removing it. Used in balustrade installations to give base-plated posts a finished appearance. IMPORTANT: suits screw-fixed base plates (XP-BP-SET-B) ONLY - does NOT fit welded 134 x 100mm base plates (SS-1300-BP-B / SS-1600-BP-B); for those use SS-DC-B instead. Install per AS/NZS 1170 and NCC Volume 2 balustrade design actions and barrier requirements. Colour-matched to the Blade matt black aluminium range.
